Leyton Orient held League One promotion hopefuls Wrexham to a goalless draw at the Gaughan Group Stadium.

The hosts dominated the first half, but were unable to take advantage in front of goal where Wrexham goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo impressed the visitors.

He denied Jamie Donley, while Ethan Galbraith and Charlie Kelman saw shots miss the target.

Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson sent on George Evans, Paul Mullin and Steven Fletcher to try to break the deadlock after the break.

The changes improved their performances, but not their efforts in front of goal.

Orient’s reward for the draw was falling three places to 19th, while Birmingham City’s victory over Peterborough United saw them overtake Wrexham at the top of the table.
