18-year-old dead after shooting

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – An 18-year-old boy died after a shooting on Friday, September 20.

According to authorities, the Richmond County Coroner’s Office responded to Wellstar/MCG on Friday, September 27 in reference to the shooting death that occurred in the 1300 block of Druid Park.

The coroner’s office identified the shooting victim as Jean Paul Magala, 18, who was shot at least once and transported to Wellstar/MCG by EMS.

According to the coroner’s office, Magala was pronounced dead on September 27.

An autopsy has been scheduled.
