Huge dinosaur skull discovered after 72 million years in Canada

The giant fossilized head of a dinosaur was discovered after 72 million years.

Dinosaur experts, known as paleontologists, discovered the skull during excavations in Alberta, Canada.

The large herbivorous dinosaur called Pachyrhinosaurus was also nicknamed Big Sam.

The animal’s skull weighs 600 lb (272 kg), approximately the equivalent of 40 bowling balls, and was found in an area called Pipestone Creek.

It is the second adult skull and the largest discovered in the area known to be a place where several dinosaur bones have been discovered.
