Trump attacks Fox News for ‘constantly’ inviting liberals on air

Donald Trump said Sunday that he is tired of returning to Fox News to find Democrats like Pete Buttigieg on the air.

As part of a series of angry messages he shared on Truth Social, the former president called on Fox to stop inviting liberals onto its shows to argue against what Republican guests — and the hosts’ own right-wing networks – have to say.

“CNN will not feature a conservative Republican, nor will MSDNC (sic),” Trump wrote. “But Fox constantly incites liberal Democrats to counter their previous right-wing guests, thereby negating any message they might be sending. Fake news is unfair enough to Republicans, we don’t need it from them either. by Fox.”

Buttigieg has a knack for taking to the typically pro-Trump network and dismantling the host’s arguments, but it’s unclear which appearance by a Democrat was the final straw that prompted Trump to speak out .

Earlier in the day, the network invited Democratic Sen. Chris Coons on “Fox News Sunday” to discuss Trump’s recent meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Coons said he was “glad they met” but noted there was an “awkward moment” when Trump bragged about being a “very good friend” to Russian President Vladimir Poutine.

“And you could see Zelensky stiffen and say, ‘Well, I hope you’re a better friend to Ukraine than you are a friend to Russia under Putin,'” Coons said. “So it was a surprisingly awkward moment.”

“We shouldn’t have a president of the United States saying he’s looking to become a better friend to Vladimir Putin,” Coons added.

In other messages Sunday, the ex-president lashed out Sunday against “negative ads,” which he also runs, and bizarrely said: “There’s something wrong with Kamala, I don’t I just don’t know what it is, but something is missing, and everyone knows it!
