Howard County police and U.S. Marshals search for teen involved in fatal shooting at Columbia mall in July

The Howard County Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service have teamed up to try to find a teenager wanted for his alleged role in a fatal shooting that took place at the Columbia Mall on July 27.

William Thomas Marshall III, 17, of Columbia, was charged with first-degree murder.

Law enforcement is asking for the public’s help in locating the fugitive.

Police alleged that Marshall (aka “Junior”) specifically targeted the victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Law enforcement is identifying Marshall publicly because his whereabouts are unknown and he is considered a potential threat to the public due to the nature of his alleged crime.

The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to Marshall’s arrest.

This is in addition to the Howard County Police Department’s previously announced reward of up to $10,000.
