Man Utd Women vs Liverpool League Cup Match Preview October 1, 2024

THE OPPOSITION

Wednesday’s visitors drew 1-1 in each of their opening two matches in 2024/25, against Leicester City and West Ham respectively.

They finished above United in the WSL last season, however, beating Marc Skinner’s side 1-0 last May.

Liverpool also beat us at LSV, winning 2-1 in a frantic WSL affair, and United will surely be keen to set the record straight this time around.

We traveled to Prenton Park in the League Cup and came out 1-0 winners, which will give Skinner’s side confidence that we can emulate this week.
