Meet Dr. Anil Kumar Singh, the professor from Azamgarh who redefined ‘those who try never to lose’

You’ve probably heard the adage “Those who try never lose.” This statement demonstrates the value of perseverance and commitment in life. This is the story of one such person who serves as an inspiration to young people. It tells the story of a professor who, by focusing on a few areas throughout his studies, achieved success several times.

One such outstanding example of success was given by Dr. Anil Kumar Singh, Associate Professor at the Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Shri Murli Manohar Town Postgraduate College, Ballia.

Dr. Anil Kumar Singh: Beginning of the journey

Dr. Anil Kumar Singh lives in Kotwa Jalalpur, Azamgarh. He completed his primary education in a rural area. He attended the village school until eighth grade. Anil had to cycle around 7 miles to reach school as the village did not have an intermediate college after class VIII. He graduated from Varanasi after completing his intermediate and secondary education and then completed his postgraduate studies at Acharya Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj, Faizabad. It was also where he received his doctorate.

Dr. Anil Kumar Singh: Professional Education

In an interview with Local 18, Dr. Anil Kumar Singh spoke about his experiences. He said that since he was little, studying has always been his main passion. He believes that a successful lifestyle includes discipline, diet and lifestyle choices. A person will never experience failure if he pays attention to these elements. He said he was a living illustration of that.

Despite holding such powerful positions, he was more interested in teaching. He was selected to become an associate professor and accepted the position after passing the recruitment examination of the Department of Higher Education. He is currently working to use education to influence children’s futures.
