An Australian influencer has given a heartbreaking update on her one-year-old daughter who was in a coma for 100 hours.

Allanah Harris and her husband Brock run the popular Harris family TikTok page, which documents the lives of their four children for over a million followers.

The couple share daughter Daisy, one, as well as James, seven, Chase, three, and Ellie, two.

Daisy lives with Tuberous Sclerosis (TSC), a rare genetic disease that causes non-cancerous tumors to grow in the brain and other vital organs.

Since she was six months old, Daisy had suffered multiple seizures every day, and in June the couple discovered TSC was the cause.

Allanah took to Instagram on Thursday to share a heartbreaking clip of her cutting her little girl’s hair before undergoing her second brain surgery.

The video showed little Daisy sleeping in a hospital bed with tubes in her nose while Allanah cut her hair, before placing a strand into a sample container.

“A baby’s first haircut is supposed to be a memorable experience,” she wrote of the clip.

Influencer Allanah Harris has given another heartbreaking update on her one-year-old daughter Daisy, who was in a coma for 100 hours.

“Daisy’s first haircut was during her first brain surgery. Before her second brain surgery, I wanted to keep a piece of her hair before the surgeons shaved it all off.

Captioning the post, Allanah revealed that the outcome of the surgery was not what was hoped for.

“Our darling daughter has now been in the hospital for 2 months and has had 2 brain surgeries,” she wrote.

“I couldn’t even imagine the pain you and your beautiful little family are feeling and every time I see one of your posts or one of your tik toks I cry because it’s so sad and no one should have to go through who you are, sending love and support to you all.

On Instagram last week, Allanah announced that Daisy had been moved to hospice care.

“Daisy’s condition did not improve as we hoped and the hospital decided to place her in palliative care,” she wrote.

“This news came as a real shock to us and we are still processing what this means and how it will play out for us and our family in the future.

Allanah also revealed that the family was working with the hospital to bring Daisy home.

“Over the coming weeks, the hospital will work alongside us to create a safe environment for Daisy to come home with us, under the support of a 24/7 palliative nurse,” he said. -she declared.

“We were really hoping for a better outcome from these surgeries, but we are just grateful that our sweet daughter is still here with us,” Allanah said.

“While we may have gotten our wish for Daisy to be home for Christmas, we really wish it had been under better circumstances.”

Allanah revealed in August that Daisy had been in a coma for more than 100 hours – with doctors scrambling to find the cause.

She explained that Daisy, who also suffers from focal cortical dysplasia, epilepsy, infantile spasms and encephalopathy, was first diagnosed with TSC in June last year, the same day as her first child Lily, stillborn, died in 2020.

A GoFundMe was created by Brock and Daisy’s grandmother Karen to help cover the cost of Daisy’s ongoing treatment and has raised more than $60,000.
