THIS 90S SHOW Canceled on Netflix, Won’t Get Season 3

It looks like we won’t be hanging out in the streets anymore. In a somewhat surprising move, Netflix has canceled This 90s show. It really felt like, even though the show obviously didn’t have as much of a mass following as its original, This show from the 70sa number of people enjoyed the 90s-inspired sequel. But alas, there will be no more This 90s show…at least, not on Netflix. Honestly, it feels like no show is safe anymore, not even nostalgia-soaked IP. If It’s the 90s To show is canceled after two seasons, what chance does a series still have of getting a season three? This cancellation of This 90s show doesn’t bode well for the future of long-running television.

This 90s show Star Kurtwood Smith, who plays the iconic Red Forman, took to Instagram to announce the news of This 90s showof the cancellation, but also of its possible future.

Smith shares:

I know you’re asking me when season 3 will arrive, but I have some tough news… Netflix won’t be renewing. I just want to take a minute to say THANK YOU to all the fans around the world who have supported and watched the series. You have come up to me in random parts of the world when I travel and reached out to me through social media and you have been so wonderful. I loved every minute of bringing Grandpa Red to life for you all. I’ve said it before, but it’s worth mentioning again…this show had so much heart behind it and the most wonderful actors, writers, directors, producers and crew that an actor could hope to work with. Thank you for allowing Red and Kitty, their grandchild, all of their grandchildren, friends and neighbors, the original cast of That 70’s Show and all of our wonderful guest cast to entertain you for two seasons. To steal Red Forman’s words…we’re not going to be idiots…we will shop the showbecause good grandparents would strive to ensure that these children graduate from high school.

GOOD, This 90s showWe’re sorry to see you suffer yet another two-season cancellation, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed that you get a season three. Then we can salute Wisconsin once again!
