Tupac was allegedly shot and hit by four bullets from a .40 caliber Glock. Following this, a suspect in the case, former gang leader Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who faces murder charges in connection with Tupac’s death, reportedly told police that Sean “Diddy” Combs had offered $1 million to have the rapper killed, according to Fox 5. Combs has previously denied rumors that he was involved in the case.

Tupac Shakur was ‘trapped’ when he was shot

The investigator explained that during Tupac’s first shooting in 1994, he was trapped in an elevator and the second time he found himself confined in a car – both situations leaving him with no chance of escape . “Ironically, none of these incidents have video footage,” she noted. “This suggests that someone close to him knew where he was that day and time.” She said it also narrows the pool of potential suspects.

McCollum’s remarks follow recent reports that Tupac’s family has opened a new legal investigation potentially linking the rapper’s 1996 murder to the disgraced music mogul. The investigation, initiated by Tupac’s family, aims to explore potential links to record producer Bad Boy. Renowned attorney Alex Spiro has been retained to delve further into this nearly three-decade-old case.

However, in his court documents, “(Davis) had publicly stated that he was only speaking about himself and that he was not trying to provide evidence against anyone in his conversations with police.”

“However, this statement denies this claim, since it suggests that Sean Combs paid (drug dealer) Eric Von Martin a million dollars for the murders and offered to set up a clandestine phone call with Terrence Brown, the driver , who, at the time, was still alive,” the statement further reads according to Fox.
