Fourth Laredo murder of 2024 under investigation

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – The fourth murder of 2024 in Laredo occurred in the early hours of Saturday, October 5, 2024.

The Laredo Police Department said there was a shooting between two cars near the Mall del Norte in the morning.

LPD said the incident happened around 2 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Haynes Avenue and Hillside Road.

In the reported two-vehicle shooting, a 39-year-old man was shot in the chest and died.

According to LPD, this is a murder investigation and an investigation is ongoing.
