How to solve the jukebox puzzle – Silent Hill 2

Bloober Team’s remake of Silent Hill 2 brings back the spooky atmosphere of the original, along with puzzles both familiar and new. The jukebox puzzle in Neely’s Bar requires you to solve it to continue your progress. To do this, you will need to collect several parts and pieces.

You can collect many of the components required for the jukebox puzzle solution in any order you want. We have listed our route below.

Saul Street Apartments

Start by leaving the bar and heading south along Neely Street to Saul Street. The apartments will be on your left. Inside, look for the office on your right. It’s locked, so go down the hallway to the open door next to the office, blocked by a piece of furniture. Move the furniture aside and enter to collect the key to apartment number 5.

Return to the hallway, squash the scurrying insect before it can bite you and sap some of your health. Go up to the second floor and be on the lookout for another bug. Apartment 5 is at the end of a corridor. Use the apartment key to enter, then turn right and go through the hole in the wall. You’ll find yourself in a lounge, but you won’t stay there long. Look for another gap in a wall, go through it, then jump over the windowsill to the fire escape. Follow the stairs to another window and go inside. The fire escape collapses behind you, but you will take another exit.

In the apartment, there’s a door that you can’t enter, but James makes a disgusted face when you try, as if he smells something foul. Enter the adjacent bathroom and stick your hand through the wall. Continue using the Explore prompt until you remove a sticky jukebox button “2”.

Groovy music

Continue north along Neely Street until you come to Groovy Street Music on your left. There are two figures lying inside. Defeat them with your board, then look towards the windows along the wall straight ahead. Smash one with your board, jump across and grab the scratched disc and glue from the table.

Texas Coffee

Back on Neely Street, turn east on Katz Street and follow it to the Texan Cafe on your right. There is a cash register at the bar. Interact with it by turning the key on the side and pressing the Cash button at the bottom right. Take the room from the inside and leave the cafe, taking care to avoid the prone figure crawling on your way out.

Bar Neely

Return to the bar and interact with the jukebox if you haven’t already. The other half of a broken record is inside the jukebox. Open your inventory and use the glue to repair the disc, then insert it into the jukebox. Insert the coin and press C2 to play the disc. After the cutscene, you will receive a key to the back room of the bar.
