Woman dead, two men injured in triple shooting in Stone Oak, SAPD says

Police said the men were taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries

A woman was killed and two men were hospitalized after a shooting outside a home in Stone Oak, according to San Antonio police. (Copyright 2024 by KSAT – All rights reserved.)

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police say a woman is dead and two men are hospitalized after a shooting outside a home in Stone Oak.

San Antonio police officers responded to a call after someone reported shots fired in the 17900 block of Winter Hill on Wednesday after 5 p.m. The person also said they claimed to have seen a body in a front yard, SAPD said.

Police said the woman was in her late 30s or early 40s and was found in a front yard with an injured man in his 20s. Officers then found a second injured man in a home, police said.

The two men were transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

The woman was later pronounced dead, authorities said.

SAPD said it is investigating what led to the shooting.
