A warm afternoon before the cold front leads to much cooler air

Temperatures this morning will be around 60 degrees inland and around 70 degrees along the coast.

It will be a warm day with almost record highs.
Highs will be in the mid 80s inland and around 80 on the coast.
A high risk of rip currents remains on our local beaches.
A few morning showers in Southeast Georgia today.
A few evening showers ahead of the cold front tonight for NE Florida
Friday will be cooler, with 50 degrees in the morning and lower to mid 70s in the afternoon.
The 40s will arrive inland Saturday and Sunday morning (50s on the coast).

TROPICS:

Sara is developing over the western Caribbean and is expected to move into Central America and then the Yucatan Peninsula this weekend.
It is possible that Sara will then emerge over the Gulf of Mexico and possibly impact Florida on Wednesday, but changes in the forecast and exact details are uncertain.
