The wide receiver position has suffered some huge injuries through the first ten weeks of the 2024 NFL season. Four more teams are saying goodbye Week 11potentially creating more challenges for fantasy football managers trying to determine their lineups for the week.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill revealed that he is dealing with a wrist injury. The Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, New York GiantsAnd Tampa Bay Buccaneers have farewell this week.

Fantasy football players with Hill on their team and other receivers like Marvin Harrison Jr. or Malik Nabers will have to make some tough decisions for week 11.

Here are some options at the wide receiver positions for fantasy football players looking for a boost in Week 11, and some players to avoid:

Fantasy football starts ’em: Week 11 wide receivers

George PickensPittsburgh Steelers (vs. Baltimore Ravens)

In the three games since Russell Wilson took over at quarterback, Pickens has 276 yards and two touchdowns on 14 catches. This week he faces a Ravens defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to wide receivers over the past four weeks, including a 264-yard, three-touchdown day from Ja’Marr Chase of the Bengals.

Courtland SuttonDenver Broncos (vs. Atlanta Falcons)

Sutton should be considered a weekly starter at this point in the season. He was a member of the “starting” club last week despite facing a gritty Chiefs secondary and still put up 70 yards and a touchdown on six catches. Quarterback Bo Nix relies on Sutton far more than any other pass catcher in the Broncos offense. This week, the tandem faces a Falcons defense that has struggled to shut down opposing wide receivers this year – Marquez Valdes-Scantling put up 109 yards and two touchdowns on three catches in Week 10.

Calvin RidleyTennessee Titans (vs. Minnesota Vikings)

Ridley was a sit candidate last week due to the issues he had previously faced with Will Levis starting under center. However, concerns about the young quarterback and his connection with his top receiver were put aside after an 84-yard, two-touchdown performance against a strong Chargers secondary. Things get easier this week against the Vikings, who have allowed the third-most points by receivers in fantasy football this year.

Fantasy football sit ’em: Week 11 wide receivers

Michael Pittman Jr.Indianapolis Colts (at New York Jets)

Pittman will not play in Week 11 after missing the Colts game in Week 10 due to a back injury. If he returns, there is little upside for the veteran receiver. He’ll be beat up at best and face a Jets defense that has allowed the fewest fantasy points to wideouts this year.

DJ MoorChicago Bears (vs. Green Bay Packers)

Moore’s production has fallen off a cliff since his “revenge game” against his former team, the Carolina Panthers, in Week 5. After a 105-yard, two-touchdown day, the 27-year-old has no more than four tackles. pass, counted more than 35 yards, or seen the end zone. Better days may be ahead, with some internal turmoil for the Bears next fired offensive coordinator Shane Waldron. There’s no reason to believe that will be the case this week against a Packers secondary that has allowed the third-fewest fantasy points per game to receivers over the last four weeks.

Jordan AddisonMinnesota Vikings (at Tennessee Titans)

Any fantasy football players hoping that Addison’s solid day on “Sunday Night Football” last week was the sign of a comeback were disappointed in Week 10. That Week 9 game with the Colts remains the only second-year wideout game this year with more than three catches, and he has yet to surpass his yardage total from his 72-yard performance in Week 4 against the Packers. The Titans have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points per game to receivers all season and seventh over the past two weeks.
