The sheriff’s office is searching for a Wayne County man wanted for DWI and other charges

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Adalberto Garcia-Diaz, 43, who is wanted for driving under the influence and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree.

Garcia-Diaz is described as 6 feet tall, with black hair and brown eyes. Authorities released his details in their weekly ‘Wanted Wednesday’ social media post, stressing the need for the public’s cooperation.

Residents are advised not to approach Garcia-Diaz or take any police action. Instead, anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is encouraged to immediately contact the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office at 315-946-9711.

The Sheriff’s Office did not provide further details about the allegations, but reiterated the importance of public assistance in cases like these to ensure the safety of the community.
