Manitoba Weather: Fog over southern Manitoba

Commuters are encouraged to take precautions Thursday morning as dense fog makes driving dangerous in southern Manitoba.

According to one lacks advice from Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), fog developed in a number of communities Wednesday night, reducing visibility to near zero in these areas.

The fog is expected to clear and conditions are expected to improve late Thursday morning.

ECCC notes that travel can be dangerous. If your visibility is limited while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance from other vehicles.
