Police identify cyclist killed in crash in Bedford

BEDFORD, Ohio (WOIO) – Police have identified the person killed while biking in Bedford Friday morning as 59-year-old Linda K. Conger.

Bedford Police officers and the Bedford Fire Department were dispatched to 18200 Rockside Road for a two-car crash.

First responders arrived on the scene around 9:12 a.m. and found a woman on her bicycle trapped under one of the cars, according to a news release.

The Bedford Fire Department pronounced Conger dead at the scene and treated the two drivers.

The Bedford Accident Investigation Unit will investigate the accident.
