WASHINGTON, DC – The Metropolitan Police Department gives permission after investigating a suspicious package in Southeast, DC

Police responded to the scene for the report of a suspicious package at the U.S. Department of Transportation headquarters located at 1200 New Jersey Avenue Southeast in Navy Yard. At the time of the incident, employees were warned about the incident and instructed to evacuate the building. Read the full warning below:
