Ex-Met police officer denies sexual assault on woman and teenager

Former police officer David Carrick has denied multiple sexual assaults on a woman and a teenage girl.

On Thursday, the 49-year-old pleaded not guilty to two charges of rape, one charge of sexual assault and one charge of coercive and controlling behavior, in relation to the woman between 2014 and 2019.

He has also denied five counts of indecent assault against a girl under 16 between 1989 and 1990.

Carrick appeared via video link at the Old Bailey in London.

The trial will be heard at the Old Bailey on November 3, 2025.

A preliminary hearing was also scheduled for March 14.
