Silent Auction Benefits NewBrook Fire and Rescue | Community News

NEWFANE – The 22nd annual silent auction benefiting NewBrook Fire and Rescue goes live Saturday, November 23 and runs through Monday, December 4. This year’s auction will be dedicated to current fundraising efforts to help pay for the new fire engine that has been commissioned to replace aging equipment.

The auction has enjoyed tremendous community support over the years and the committee is confident this year will be no different, according to a news release. However, in addition to new/gently used/vintage/collectible homewares, furniture and soft furnishings; Gift vouchers for goods and services; gift baskets; holiday items; specialty foods/beverages; art; crafts; the committee is looking for unique and/or creative donations to make this year’s event as special as the need for assistance. Donations such as a weekend/weekly stay in a holiday home; staying in inns/bed and breakfasts in the area; a few tickets to a regional sporting event, gift certificates to local classes or venues; etc. would help the NewBrook Fire Department’s auction and fire truck fundraising efforts tremendously.
