The Greenville Co. Coroner responds to an investigation into the death

GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – A death investigation is underway in the city of Greenville.

According to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, officers are responding to the area of Gower Street and Harlem Square.

The coroner’s office said one person is dead.

Greenville police said officers were called to the area for emergency services assistance, but a dead person was found at the scene upon arrival.

Officials said the cause of death is unknown and officers are still investigating.
