Brianna LaPaglia calls Zach Bryan’s silence ‘deafening’

A week after Brianna LaPaglia revealed she was the victim of alleged emotional abuse by ex-boyfriend and country singer Zach Bryanthe influencer shared why she believes Bryan has remained silent about the allegations.

“I think the reaction itself, the silence, is deafening,” she said. “I think his reaction proves his character again.”

LaPaglia – best known by her online name “Brianna Chickenfry” – continued to say that she had “taken the high road” by purposefully withholding details and evidence, and viewed Bryan’s abuse as a way to “throw him a bone” so that he could seek help for his behavior.

“I obviously think he’s not responding because if he wants to respond, he has to deny it and if he denies it, then I’m the full story, I’m posting all the videos and recordings,” she said on the Nov. 13 episode. from Barstool Sports’ BFFs podcast with co-hosts Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards.

The “Something in the Orange” singer first announced his split from LaPaglia on his Instagram Story in October, leaving LaPaglia feeling “blindsided.” She first opened up about what happened in their relationship on the November 7 episode of the podcast.

“The last year of my life was the hardest year of my life, dealing with the abuse from this guy,” she said. “I’m still scared of him, my brain has been rewired. I’m afraid of making him angry.”

LaPaglia continued to say how Bryan “love bombed her,” tried to control what clothes she wore, yelled at her friends and was “always destroying her phone.”

“He fucking manipulated me,” she said. “I don’t expect people to understand emotional abuse if you haven’t experienced it, and I hope you never have to experience it, but if you have, you know what I’m talking about. It was just a constant cycle of, ‘Build you up, knock you down, apologize,’ over and over again.”

LaPaglia also claimed that Bryan and his team offered her twelve million dollars to sign a non-disclosure agreement and not talk about their relationship or the experiences she had endured.

However, LaPaglia decided not to sign it and described her reasons why: “This is not a drama for me, it’s not about signing the NDA and not taking the money because I want to move forward here. and revealing who he is and his secrets and all that stuff,” she explains. “I didn’t take the money because I don’t write down my experiences and what I went through to protect someone who hurt me. I am much stronger than a weak man.”

Bryan remains active on social media and released the songs ‘High Road’ and ‘This World’s A Giant’ after going public with their split.

Representatives for Bryan did not immediately respond to request for comment.
