Shasta County supervisors honoring Becca’s Café, discussing election issues Thursday

The Shasta County Board of Supervisors will hold their regular meeting in the boardrooms Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m.

To start, they will recognize Becca’s Café, an important part of the community, for their commitment to the community in times of need.

As for agenda items, the board will discuss several election-related topics, including ballot overspray issues, with representatives from Runbeck Election Services and Hart InterCivic, which they say influenced the Nov. 5 presidential general election. The board will also address potential issues regarding timestamps on the election audit log.

The Board will also reconsider the grant agreement with the Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) and the spending plan as approved on April 9, 2024, and consider waiving the attorney-client right to release all email and other related documents give. to CTCL for the public.

This meeting was highly anticipated after the chaos and arrest Supervisory Board last Thursday.

We will have a full report of what was discussed and ultimately decided during our 10 and 11pm shows. Check back for updates.
