Mike Tyson punches Jake Paul during the weigh-in for the Netflix fight on Friday

The long-awaited fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul is just one day away, but fans could watch Thursday after the weigh-in between the two fighters came to blows.

Paul and Tyson both weighed in on Thursday at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas, during an event that was broadcast live. Paul weighed 227 pounds and Tyson weighed 228.4 pounds. After Tyson stepped off the scale, he approached Paul for a final showdown. Then chaos ensued.

Paul crawled towards Tyson, which seemed to upset Tyson. Tyson punched Paul in the face and was immediately separated from Paul by security personnel. Paul seemed unfazed by the blow as he blew kisses to Tyson, laughed and clapped.

“I didn’t even feel it,” Paul said. ‘He’s angry. He is an angry elf. Mike Tyson, I thought that was a cute punch.”

Tyson said that “the talk is over,” but Paul added that “it’s personal now.”

Tyson vs. Paul does streaming exclusively on Netflix Friday. The main card for the event starts at 8:00 PM ET.
