Driver OK after pickup crashes in Antelope Park

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The driver of a pickup truck is doing well after crashing into a dry creek bed in Antelope Park Thursday afternoon.

Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews responded to the crash in the park south of Normal Boulevard around 4 p.m

LFR said the driver was able to get himself out of the vehicle by the time rescue crews arrived. He was taken to hospital by ambulance for a check-up, but does not appear to have any serious injuries.

Lincoln police are investigating what caused the crash.
