Winston is ready to play football again

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Jameis Winston’s Browns debut was a resounding success. He passed for 300 yards, three touchdowns and led the Browns to a win over Baltimore.

As in Hollywood, the sequel was terrible.

Winston’s decisions, stats, everything was not just worse, but downright bad in his follow-up performance after their loss to the Chargers.

The veteran completed 26 of 46 passes for 235 yards, one touchdown, three interceptions and he was sacked six times. He was completely absorbed in the film. “Yes, everything in terms of every game is just a matter of decisions. So I evaluate: how was the decision, right? Many situations can arise in the game, but as long as the decision is right, I build on it and only eliminate the negative part,” said Winston.

Winston, who spent four years as a backup in New Orleans, would love to make better decisions on Sunday. He felt like he made some good ones in that loss to Los Angeles. “Yes, I feel like I’ve made some great decisions, but I also feel like I can eliminate some of them to get better.”

The Browns and Saints kick off at Huntington Bank Field on Sunday at 1 p.m.
