Woman stabbed on E. Franklin St.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Evansville Police Department officials say a woman was stabbed in the 2100 block of East Franklin Street Thursday evening.

Vanderburgh County dispatch previously confirmed that police responded to a report of an assault in progress at 5:50 p.m.

EPD officials say the victim has non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say they know the identity of the suspect and have issued an arrest warrant.
