I-95 Northbound closed in Groton due to a crash

GROTON, Conn. (WTNH) – I-95 Northbound in Groton is closed due to a two-vehicle crash, according to the Department of Transportation (DOT).

State police said the incident occurred around 10 p.m. when a car struck a parked construction vehicle between exits 88 and 89. Injuries have been reported, but the extent is unknown at this time.

The driver of the car responded and is now out of the vehicle.
