Man arrested, charged for allegedly sharing child sex abuse material

MONROE CO., Ky. (WSMV) – A Kentucky man has been arrested and charged for sharing child sex abuse material online, according to Kentucky State Police.

KSP said their Electronic Crime Unit arrested 37-year-old Robert Allen Tabor on Tuesday. Tabor has been charged with eight counts of distribution of material depicting a minor in a sexual performance under the age of 12.

The arrest comes after an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation revealed that Tabor allegedly shared images of child sexual exploitation online, according to KSP.

KSP said Tabor’s charges are Class C felonies and, if convicted, he could face five to 10 years in prison on each charge.

Tabor was booked into the Barren County Detention Center.
