Logan Paul believes Mike Tyson made a “serious mistake” by punching his brother Jake during Thursday night’s heated ceremonial weigh-in.

It is expected to be one of the most watched events in boxing history. Jake Paul, the YouTuber turned boxer, will take on former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in a heavyweight fight over eight two-minute rounds.

The event, which will be hosted at the 80,000-capacity AT&T Stadium in Texas, will stream live on Netflix worldwide at no additional cost to subscribers.

Prior to fight night, a cool, calm and collected Tyson was unusually quiet. Paul has tried to get into his head several times, even accusing his opponent of being “bloody boring” in the lead-up.

But after days of nonsense talk, Tyson appeared to snap after Paul stepped on his foot during the final staredown. You can see that moment below during Thursday’s weigh-in.

Mike Tyson later explained why he “had to answer” and hit Jake Paul in the face as the pair came face to face in a heated final look ahead of Friday’s heavyweight fight.

“I had my socks on and he had shoes on. He stepped on my toe because he’s fucking stupid,” Tyson said. “I wanted to think it happened by accident. But now I think it might have happened on purpose. I was in a lot of pain, I had to give something back.”

When asked what it felt like to be punched by TysonPaul replied, “I didn’t even feel it. He’s angry, he’s an angry elf.”

He added: “Mike Tyson, that was a nice slap buddy, but tomorrow you’re going to get fucking knocked out. I’m fucking him, I’m fucking him up! He hits like crazy. It’s personal now, it’s personal now!

Shortly after the incident, Jake’s brother Logan Paul offered his two cents by suggesting that Tyson had just made the fight personal.

We’re going to X, formerly Twitter, the WWE superstar wrote: “My brother got beat by Mike Tyson, damn iconic… but a serious mistake. This fight just got personal for Jake. Tomorrow’s outcome will be total devastation for Mike; the new face of boxing will be tomorrow crowned.”
