Dense morning fog; mostly sunny afternoon

(KFVS) – Patchy dense fog is reducing visibility in some locations this morning, especially closer to lakes and rivers, as the water is unusually warm for November.

Visibility of a quarter mile or less is likely.

Dense fog advisories are issued until 9:00 am

This afternoon it will gradually become mainly sunny with a weak southeast wind.

Highs will be in the upper 50s in the Northeast to low 60s in the Southwest.

Tonight it will be chilly again, but dry and there is some fog.

The weekend looks mainly dry and gradually warmer.

Highs will be around 65 to 70 degrees Sunday afternoon and near 70 degrees Monday and Tuesday.

There may be a few showers early next week, followed by a sharp cooling trend.

At the end of next week it looks fresh and windy, but dry.
