1 dead on Pompano Beach train tracks

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – One person was killed on the tracks Friday morning in Pompano Beach.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the person was a pedestrian and the collision occurred near Southwest Third Street.

The closure for the investigation affected the schedule of Brightline’s high-speed passenger trains.
