SmashJT also posted a video (seen below) on November 14, 2024, explaining in further detail what sales data had been leaked to him, which amassed over 77,000 views and 5,100 likes within a few hours.

On November 14, 2024, rumors began appearing online that Bioware Studio had launched an internal investigation to find the leaking DATV sales data. Fandom Pulse was one of the first websites to report the alleged investigation, writing that Smash JT was told by the anonymous source that the gaming company is trying to “find out who these people (leakers) are who are trying to take it elsewhere because they ‘ They are afraid for their jobs if there are internal complaints about it. Because you are not allowed to be critical at this company when you work there.”

Smash JT’s video about the ongoing Bioware investigation (seen below) received approximately 152,000 views and 10,000 likes per day.

Sales data leaked by DATV sparked several reactions on social media, drawing comparisons and essay videos, as well as memes on X and Reddit. For example, on November 14, 2024, YouTuber used the game’s sales debate and added: Dragon Age: The Veil Guard The number of players was also surpassed by Farming simulator 25 on Steam. The video (seen below) received more than 20,000 views and 2,000 likes in one day.

On November 15, 2024, TikTok user @generalfrigus posted a SpongeBob square pants meme about DATV’s leaked data, which gathered around 845 plays and 31 likes within a few hours.
