A Kentucky State Police investigation revealed that Daniel Sidebottom, 23, of Greensburg, was operating a pickup truck while under the influence of alcohol when he failed to obey a stop sign while speeding on KY 323.

Police say he drove through an intersection and struck the passenger side of a vehicle traveling on KY 61, killing a Larue County woman and leaving five others with serious injuries.
