Amber Alert issued for missing 11-year-old girl from Henderson County

HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) – An Amber Alert was issued Friday for an 11-year-old girl believed to have been picked up by an unknown person, according to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office.

Mia James was last seen wearing a teal hoodie with the words “venom” written in glitter and black shorts. She is described as 6 feet tall and 98 pounds.

Authorities said she left her home on CR 3925, just north of Athens, and was then picked up by an unknown person.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating James. If you have any information about her location, call the sheriff’s office immediately at (903) 675-5128.
