Amherst man charged with public indecency after nude incident at Westlake hotel

WESTLAKE, Ohio (WOIO) – A 57-year-old Amherst man was arrested on November 8 on several charges of public indecency for an incident at the Double Tree Hotel on Crocker Road.

Westlake police received a call from a hotel employee around 9 p.m. after the man called the front desk and requested towels be brought to his room.

According to the employee, the man answered the door naked.

According to police, the man called the front desk again and asked for more towels. When the manager responded to the room with security, the man again opened the door naked and was pleasuring himself.

When he saw the guards, he slammed the door.

He was told to leave and he did so before WPD officers were called. Following an investigation, arrest warrants have been issued for the 57-year-old man. He was charged with multiple counts of public indecency. According to the police, he had already been convicted twice for the same offense.
