The law and order situation in Gwalior seems to be deteriorating as miscreants become increasingly brazen in their actions. In a bizarre and shocking incident, two unidentified assailants on bicycles attacked a street vendor with Fevikwik glue, seriously injuring him. The attack took place in the Motijheel area of Bahodapur police station.

The incident

The victim, a momo seller, was reportedly at his stall when the assailants attacked him. Without any warning, they threw Fevikwik glue at his face and fled the scene. The glue caused the seller’s eyes and mouth to remain closed, rendering him unable to see or speak. Passersby rushed him to Jaya Arogya Hospital, where he was admitted to the burn ward for treatment. Doctors try to alleviate the serious injuries caused by the glue.

Police investigation ongoing

Following the attack, local police registered an FIR and launched investigations to identify and arrest the perpetrators. Authorities are searching CCTV footage in the area and interviewing witnesses to gather clues. Police assured the public that the perpetrators would soon be brought to justice.

A city under threat

This incident is just the latest in a series of unconventional and violent crimes that have rocked Gwalior. In recent months, miscreants have used unique methods to spread fear, including firing bullets over disputes and now using adhesives to attack innocent individuals. These events highlight the challenges police face in maintaining public safety and restoring peace in the city.

The wave of criminal activity, including murders, robberies and shootings, has created a climate of fear among residents. Many question the effectiveness of law enforcement in curbing the rising tide of violence and protecting peace in the city.

For now, the police remain on high alert as they work tirelessly to arrest the perpetrators and prevent similar incidents in the future.
