Real Madrid star urged to consider blockbuster move as ex-striker Amorim lends helping hand

Real Madrid star urged to consider blockbuster move as ex-striker Amorim lends helping hand

Arda Guler has been told to prioritize playing time by swapping Real Madrid for Manchester United in what would be a sensational move.

According to former Man Utd ace Louis Saha, Guler needs to consider his options as he will always challenge for a starting spot as long as he is there Real Madrid. And this could see the attacking midfielder join Ruben Amorim’s project at Old Trafford.

“Manchester United has a lot to offer Arda Gulerincluding more playing time than he currently gets at Real Madrid,” said Saha (via the GENTLEMEN).

“United need that type of playmaker who plays with freedom and it is very difficult for young players to get that at Real Madrid, especially in midfield. With that opportunity he could flourish at United.

“He needs to play to reach his potential and perhaps a loan would suit him after being so impressive at the 2024 Euros. He is a very smart player.”

“United need someone who can provide opportunities for players like Bruno Fernandes and Rasmus Hojlund. They need a player who is able to play that last pass and that could be him.”

Arda Guler will be a difficult purchase

United are among a number of major Premier League sides to be linked with Guler, amid speculation that the 19-year-old could be sent out on loan to continue his development.

That’s what the Spanish press claims LiverpoolArsenal and Manchester City are also all monitoring Guler’s situation.

However, what English clubs will have difficulty with is signing the Turk permanently.

Although Guler is not a regular starter for Madrid, the Spanish giants view him as a player with elite potential who could one day become an integral star.

So far this season, the playmaker has made 12 appearances in all competitions, although he has yet to register a goal contribution.

Guler was linked with clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United before Madrid won the race for him in July 2023.

Los Blancos reportedly paid 30 million euros to sign Guler from Fenerbahçe.

United’s interest in the midfielder has already been confirmed by top German sources.

While Goretzka could eventually come to Old Trafford, there is uncertainty surrounding Alejandro Garnacho.

The winger appears unhappy after refusing to celebrate his stunning goal against Leicester City. And ex-United midfielder Nicky Butt believes Garnacho is eyeing a future move to Madrid or Barcelona.
