The actress went further and suggested that Dhanush’s actions were driven by a personal vendetta against her and her husband, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan. Nayanthara criticized the actor for what she described as a ‘low’ and unfair move, especially considering the petty nature of the request.

In the letter, Nayanthara also promised to respond strongly to the legal notice she received from Dhanush, reaffirming her position while questioning his motivations.

Your refusal to give NOC for using elements of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan for our Netflix documentary can be justified by you in court from copyright law point of view but I want to remind you that there is a moral side to it, which must be defended before the court of God,” she wrote.
