Four arrested, more than 200 grams of cocaine seized in multi-province undercover operation

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — There are some big victories to report in the war on drugs while the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says they are robbing a network of dealers moving narcotics across county lines and endangering our families.

A group of suspects with ties to Palm Beach, Martin and Broward counties were just arrested. According to the arrest report, which is more than 130 pages long, these guys are openly running a drug trafficking operation that has been active for “many years.”

Store employee discovers child pornography on customer’s phone, leads to arrest

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) – A Fort Pierce man who walked into a store to get his cell phone repaired was later found arrested for child pornography after an employee saw a disturbing video.

According to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office (SLCSO), 25-year-old Jonathan Busa-Shelton was recently booked into jail on more than 100 counts of child pornography.

TAMPA, Fla. (CBS12) — A young student was almost hit by a vehicle while trying to board their school bus, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).

According to HCSO, the incident occurred on November 1. Video from the scene shows a school bus on Crenshaw Road with the stop signs displayed as a mother prepares to help her child board.

Robber attacks veteran during home invasion in Martin County, taking $350 worth of marijuana

MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — The robber who attacked an 81-year-old veteran in his own home and stole his medical marijuana, is still on the run, investigators say.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said on November 3 that a home invasion occurred around 10:20 p.m. The sheriff’s office contained a clip of the robbery and part of the attack.

Technician crushed under Amazon van after jack fails in Port St. Lucie

HARBOR ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) – An investigation is underway after police said a mechanic died after being trapped under an Amazon van at one of the facilities in Port St. Lucie on Tuesday morning.

The Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) said St. Lucie County Police and Fire Departments responded to an emergency at the Amazon Distribution Center at 13450 SW Anthony F. Sansome Sr. just after midnight. Blvd. The fatal accident involved a man who was trapped under an Amazon delivery truck.
