Jake Paul’s cornerman is going viral for his Donald Trump-inspired hat

Donald Trump did not attend the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight on Friday, although his slogan for Health and Human Services nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr. it certainly did.

One of Paul’s cornerman went viral during the Netflix livestream for wearing a rather distinctive “Make America Healthy Again” hat both during and after the 27-year-old’s lackluster win over 58-year-old Tyson.

“Jake Paul’s cornerman wearing a #MAHA Make America Healthy Again hat,” read a fan post on X. “Classic, the movement is powerful!”

The slogan is clearly derived from “Make America Great Again,” which Trump appropriated from Ronald Reagan ahead of his successful campaign for the White House in 2016. Now the president-elect has repurposed the phrase for Kennedy, who claims to be targeting on the pharmaceutical and agricultural industries.

“For too long, Americans have been crushed by the food industrial complex and pharmaceutical companies that have engaged in deceit, disinformation and misinformation when it comes to public health,” Trump wrote on social media as he revealed his choice to lead HHS.

Trump concluded by writing that Kennedy would “end the epidemic of chronic disease” and “make America great and healthy again!”

But Paul’s cornerman did not refer directly to Kennedy. Instead, the slogan appeared to be a nod to one of the fight’s sponsors, Nucleus, a company that offers genome testing for both athletes and non-athletes.

The company claims to “help people live their healthiest lives.”

While the hat may not have been a direct reference to Trump, the president-elect’s supporters didn’t seem to notice or care.

‘I love it! I stared at it the whole time,” one woman wrote after the fight.

“I wonder if if I wore a MAHA hat the liberals would be triggered?” another woman on X asked as she picked up Kennedy’s handle.

Paul himself is a staunch supporter of Trump, who recently celebrated the Republicans’ election victory over X.

“Truth and God have won in America. This is a huge step in the right direction to heal the major problems going on in the world today. America is saved,” Paul wrote on X.

“To the Democrats…I hope some can see that the truth won in this election. Voting for ‘bad orange guy’ is an emotional decision and not the truth,” he continued. “I see some of my Democratic friends panicking. It’s not your fault.

‘Try to use more discernment in the media and start by telling yourself the truth first, then the world will become clearer to you. Now let’s all unite and work to build a better America however we can. A true America.”
