MS Dhoni shows off his new youthful and stylish hairstyle, shocked netizens say: ‘Looks just 20’

Amid speculation that legendary Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s return is “uncertain” in the upcoming 2025 Indian Premier League, Dhoni has had his hairstyle changed by popular stylist Aalim Hakim.

In his new look, Dhoni ditched his extravagant wavy hairstyle for a sleeker cut. He also kept his hair base brown, with blonde highlights on top and a sharp fade at the bottom.

Aalim Hakim shared Dhoni’s toned look on his Facebook and Instagram, and it surprised Mahi’s fans. The post received more than 350,000 likes in just over three hours after being posted.

Earlier too, popular hairstylist Aalim Hakim styled Dhoni’s look and made him look younger. Hakim wrote: “Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The one and only our Thala.”

Dhoni’s fans soon started commenting on social media and praised his new look.

Dhoni in IPL 2025:

Dhoni retired from international cricket on 15 August 2020 and last played for India in the 2019 ODI World Cup. However, he still has a significant presence in the IPL and is expected to meet CSK officials later this month.

With the Cricket India Board of Control reinstating the ‘unlimited player’ rule for the 2025 to 2027 period of the IPL, there is hope that Dhoni could play in the 2025 season. But nothing is confirmed yet as MS Dhoni had said earlier that it would entirely depend on the retention rules set by the IPL Board.
