Two suspects identified in Troy shooting incident

TROY, Ala. (W.S.F.A) – Two suspects have been identified in a case of property damage from gunfire in Troy.

In the early morning hours of September 22, Troy Police were called to the 1000 block of Park Street to disperse a large crowd. While officers were doing so, several shots were fired, causing damage to both a vehicle and a home. Fortunately there were no injuries.

Two men have been charged in connection with the incident. Erik Dame’Ir McClain, 20, of Andalusia, and Karee Mykell Dorsey, 23, of Opp, are both charged with shooting into an occupied/unoccupied dwelling or vehicle, with bail set at $150,000.

McClain was taken into custody on November 12.

Dorsey is currently being held in the Covington County Jail on unrelated charges and will be extradited to Troy to face these new charges when he is released.
