Chicago shooting: Two seriously injured in shooting at University Village on Loomis Street, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) — Two people were shot early Sunday while sitting in a car in University Village, Chicago police said.

The shooting happened at approximately 1:59 a.m. in the 1300 block of S. Loomis Street.

According to police, two victims were in a car when someone in a car started shooting at them.

A 25-year-old woman was shot in the head and right leg. She was rushed to hospital in serious condition.

A 25-year-old man was also rushed to hospital in serious condition after being shot in the chest.

No one in custody.
