Tommy Fury vs Darren Till: Date, start time, undercard and how to follow as ‘TNT’ returns against former UFC star

Tommy Fury will end his boxing hiatus early next year when he fights former UFC star Darren Till in January.

‘TNT’, half-brother of former heavyweight champion Tysonhasn’t stepped into a ring since he defeated YouTuber KSI in October 2023.

The former Love Island star emerged victorious via a unanimous decision to extend his undefeated record as a professional to 10.

Fury, who was also victorious Mike Tyson’s conqueror Jake Paul had been eight months earlier strongly linked with a rematch against KSI.

The 25 year old only recently resumed training after undergoing surgery in January on a hand injury he’s had since 2019.

Fury, who also persevered a high-profile break with Molly-Mae Haag, will now instead return on a card promoted by KSI’s company.

Liverpool’s Till, who boasts an MMA record of 18-5, continues his transition to the squared circle since his UFC release in March 2023.

However, the 31-year-old saw one proposed fight on the original July date of Paul vs. Tyson scrappedwith his boxing debut against Mohammad Mutie instead marred by a post-fight brawl.

Fury vs Till: Date and start time

This fight will take place on Saturday January 18th.

The crossover event, which is promoted by KSI’s Misfits Boxing, will be held at the Co-op Live in Fury’s home town of Manchester.

Start times and further details are expected to be announced in due course.

The event is expected to be broadcast live on DAZN PPV and TNT Sports Box Office, but prices have not yet been announced.

“It feels great to finally be able to say I’m back. I’ve been out of the ring for far too long,” Fury said.

“I’m getting itchy knuckles and that’s why I’m happy to announce my return.

“This is extra special because I’m the A-side and I’m headlining a big event in my hometown and in front of my fans.

“Till had a good UFC career, but he steps into the boxing ring now, against a real professional, and he will quickly realize that he is out of his league, and this is not the game for him.

“I plan to deal convincingly with Till and then pursue even bigger fights in 2025.”
