Deceased bodies found in Stark and Williams counties

BISMARCK, ND (KFYR) – Police found two bodies Friday, one in Stark County and the other in Williams County.

Around 5 p.m., the Stark County Sheriff’s Office said it was on scene where a dead person was found near a field along the south side of Interstate 94 west of Belfield.

The person’s identity and cause of death are under investigation by the Stark County Sheriff’s Office, the ND Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the ND Highway Patrol.

Williston Police responded to a call after a report of an unresponsive person in the 600 block of 42nd Street East around 7 p.m. Officers determined the person was deceased upon arrival. The case is under investigation.
