Man suspected of driving under the influence in accident

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – A man was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) after a crash on Sunday, November 17.

Roanoke police responded at 9:03 a.m. to reports of a single-vehicle crash on the 3500 block of Cove Road.

The man driving the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was transported from the scene by Roanoke Fire-EMS, according to Roanoke police. His name has not been released.

Police say roads remain closed on Cove Road NW from Hershberger Rd NW to Routt Rd NW.
