Strictly announces the elimination of Blackpool Week

Come strictly dance spoilers follow.

Come strictly dance has revealed which couple has left the competition following the iconic Blackpool Week.

During yesterday’s (November 16) live show, the remaining celebrities achieved a coveted one Strictly milestone, as they danced to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. However, as always, two contestants were at risk of leaving the competition during tonight’s results show.

Wynne Evans and Katya Jones were back in the dance-off, this time against Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe, with both couples having to perform again for the judges.

Montell and John performed their Salsa to Thelma Houston’s ‘Don’t Leave Me This Way’, before Wynne and Katya danced their Charleston to ‘Carmen Suite No. 1: 5. Les Toreadors’ by George Bizet.

It was Wynne and Katja who were eliminated by the judges this week, after Montell and Johannes won unanimously.

Speaking to host Tess Daly, Wynne described his experience as “amazing”, adding: “I have to say. I feel like this is what Strictly is all about. If I can come and do it Strictly and lasts until week nine, then everyone can go out and dance and have a great time.

Strictly is such a brilliant family, such a precious family, that I want everyone here in this room and at home to take care of it for generations to come, because it is a wonderful, wonderful thing.”

Katya said: “To be honest, the smile hasn’t left my face since the first day of our training, since the day we partnered.”

She shared that Wynne had made the experience “so joyful and so full of laughter” for her. “You bring light, you bring laughter, you bring charisma, you fill every room you walk into with those qualities,” she said.

Wynne echoed her sentiments, adding, “Dancing every weekday was just fantastic. I’ve grown so much and I’m so grateful to have met this person (Katya).”

The final seven couples return next Saturday (November 23) for the Dance-A-Thon, taking to the floor together to show off their best Samba moves.

Come strictly dance airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while it is a spin-off Strictly speaking: it takes two airs weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
