FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision Saturday evening, November 16th.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, they were notified of the crash around 5:52 p.m

It happened on Highway 149 near Dry Road in rural Zeigler.

Officers say the driver did not stop and remained at the scene. The report came from a passerby who had not seen the accident.

According to the sheriff’s office, the pedestrian was seriously injured and was flown to an out-of-state trauma center.
